Rose and Pearl had a lot of bad feelings about the Prime Kindergarten, including guilt over their involvement in its creation, but all Amethyst knew was they didn’t like the place. She was led to believe that it was a bad place for bad gems, and that she was a bad gem by proxy.

“None of this is your fault! You didn’t build this place!” No, Pink Diamond did, with Pearl by her side. But Pearl couldn’t say that, and her and Rose’s silence on the matter made Amethyst herself feel guilty for calling this place home.
