I remember reading a post that asked:

 “Why aren’t there any ‘soft apocalypse’ stories– where the world has ended but instead of being gritty and bleak it’s a hopeful lighthearted story about how Life Goes On, and people happily continue living their lives in the ruins?” 

And Adventure Time. It just hit me that that was basically what Adventure Time was
