The zine is themed around travel and the different locations featured in the series. I got to depict the Elric brothers hanging out at the National Library with the people they meet in Central City.Â
tbh something i really liked about love simon was that even though simon was shown to have the stereotypical movie perfect life his coming out was still this huuuuge awful weight on him. it was very realistic tbh and really showed the trauma and anxiety that comes with accepting yourself and verbalising it to other ppl no matter how liberal your family are or how supportive you know your friends will be. it’s a universal feeling imo and something that’s very difficult to explain to straight ppl
