Reposting from the old blog. I always had a lot of feelings about Pearl’s longing for space in season 1. This was kind of inspired by that: At some point in the past, Pearl dreaming of leaving the Earth. Amethyst, who sees herself as part of the Earth, can’t help but feel she’s the one Pearl wants to leave behind.
